I was delighted to get an email during the week telling me that one of my songs would be featured on the weekly BBC Introducing Mixtape on BBC Radio 6 Music. This is a show put together by Tom Robinson and his team under the banner of Fresh On The Net. The shows sources music from the BBC Introducing Uploader and plays the songs that are handpicked by the team.
I was very pleased that my song Celluloid was chosen and played on the show. If you would like to hear the show, you can download a podcast of it here (until Jan 14th 2015) My song Celluloid is played at 52 mins 52 seconds.
Celluloid is taken from from the the mini-album Celluloid (Music from & Inspired by the Film: From Bedrooms To Billions), which is a set of instrumental pieces of music written for a film that tells the story of the British Video Games Industry from 1979 to the present. If you would like to buy Celluloid, or the whole album it comes from, it is available through my own store on Bandcamp as well as iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and other online stores.
To find out more about the film, From Bedrooms To Billion, you can buy physical or digital versions of the film from their website. You can also see the film trailer below.
