The black sand beach at Vik is at the southern most tip of mainland Iceland and is one of my favourite places in all of Iceland. I could sit and stare at the beautiful scenery all day if I could, watching the boats and ships drift past into the black darkness of night with just their navigation lights to let the world know they are there.
